Training Programs

PUPPY PROGRAMS | PRIVATE OBEDIENCE TRAINING | OUTDOOR GROUP LESSONS | THE WALKING CLINIC | BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION

There are two ways to train a dog. With force or compulsion or by motivating the dog.
You can motivate a dog by using food rewards, toys or handler praise .
Although many dogs can be motivated with handler praise, I believe that using food and later on toys is the most effective way to train.
I use a motivational training system (The marker system), based on Pavlov's research on salivary response .(The  Pavlovian response.)
It is the most effective training system ever developed and applied.

All training programs are tailored to your individual needs and goals. I will emphasize what is important to you and select methods that work best for each situation.

Each dog and family is unique. That is why, I offer a number of different training programs that vary from basic obedience, house manners, aggression and leash reactivity to coaching handlers for competitive dog sport.

Whether your goal is just to have a well behaved pet or to compete in a dog sport, I will help you achieve your dreams.
